Services
Modalities are used in addition to an active chiropractic treatment program to manage both acute & chronic pain. Below are some of the modalities/therapies we offer:
Ultrasound:
is a form of heat treatment for soft tissue injuries. It is used to treat joint and muscle sprains, bursitis, and tendonitis.
Electric Muscle Stim:
is used for relaxation of muscle spasms, increase of local blood circulation, muscle rehabilitation and re-education, maintaining and increasing range of motion, management of chronic and intractable pain, post-traumatic acute pain. Moist heat or ice usually accompany this therapy.
Rehabilitation Therapy
Our office uses the Theraband Rehabilitation Wellness Station. The individulized rehabilitation programs aid our patients by improving muscle strength, range of motion, and stabilizing the biomechanical weaknesses which typically created the patient's pain.
Decompression Therapy:
Our office uses the Triton by Chattanooga Decompression Unit. It is a non-surgical alternative for the relief of back and leg pain or neck and arm pain.
Most candidates of this type of treatment have disc involvement.
Intersegmental Traction
Intersegmental traction gently helps reestablish the normal ranges of the bodys spine. It also helps facilitate muscle relaxation and reduce muscle spasms.

Digital X-Ray
Our office strives to provide the latest up to date technology to aid with the diagnosis and treatment of our patients. One way we do this is with a digital X-Ray system. Here are some of the benefits of a digital X-Ray system:
-The most important benefit of digital technology is the ability to discover pathologies that may not be found with traditional systems. This is due to the elevated quality of the images.
-Digital X-Rays also limits the patients radiation exposure by as much as one-third.
-We also provide all of our patients a copy of their X-Rays on a CD.
